The senselessness of it all

This is Our Universe
13.7 billion years across
Makes you feel kind of insignificant
That in the grand scheme of things we are one
And the same with the cosmic sphere, our home.
Reminds me of the cell that let us fly
From feet to miles to straight into the sky
And out across the vacuum past the stars
Through the mists that birth the rock we are on.
And see time flash before our eyes faster,
As stars we once wished on speed to their death,
We speed on by, to see the universe
As if we were like god, looking right down
Upon this silly grand experiment.
It looks just like our brain zoomed in a bit.
So if you would agree, our world seems false
To me. Because the cell inside my head
Probably is a universe instead.

Sometimes i feel like floating in a tranquil pond.
Too far for me to see to the bottom, I dont feel weighed down by the news of the day, by the thoughts of the past or the worries about the future.
I just am, a being staring off into the void without a care, for all I see is the water, the sky and myself floating.
A snapshot in my head is all that’s left of a time when I was truly free.
